YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

Earlier this week we shared a shot of the great Johnathon Schaech getting makeup done for the new Day of the Dead remake, which is currently filming under the direction of The Corpse of Anna Fritz‘s Hèctor Hernández Vicens.
After sharing the aforementioned shot, which also carried the film’s main cast, we received an anonymous tip as to why Schaech was getting zombie makeup applied.
Bloody Disgusting learned exclusively that Schaech is playing the character MAX, a modern take on the hero zombie known as BUB in George A. Romero’s 1985 classic. Bub, who was played by Sherman Howard, was Dr. Logan’s domesticated zombie experiment in the film. It’s pretty cool to see that Schaech is donning this role, which should bring the expected/necessary emotion for the character.
In addition to the news, we were provided with some on-set shots that give you the very first look at Schaech chained up and coming face-to-face with Zoe Parker (played by Sophie Skelton)!
Day of the Dead follows a former medical student tormented by a dark figure from her past, who happens to be a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her.
The full cast includes Marcus Vanco, Jeff Gum (Exeter, The Vault), Lorina Kamburova (Nightworld, Leatherface Death Race 4), Nick Loeb, Rachel O’Meara, Debbie Sherman, Luke Cousins, Nathan Cooper, and Cristina Serafini.
Campbell Grobman Films produces, coming off of the upcoming Texas Chainsaw Massacreprequel, Leatherface, with Jeff Rice.

Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
