wasteland weekend-any one heard of this

apparently there's this supper sweet camping festival inspired by mad max and celebrating post apocalyptic culture. it's three to four days of music, side show demonstrations, and good old apocalyptic role play. costumes are mandatory so when you step into barter town section everything you see is right out of mad max, fallout. they even have their own thunder dome, two men enter one man leaves! it's super awesome and desire only being in its fourth year starting a few months from now it has a big following and devoted fans who even go so far as to leave their costume clothing out in the sun for sometimes half a year to get that real world weathered look. i only have one really problem with it, they don't allow bummer but its not the genera their going for and i understand it. two it's all the way in California and considering were on different cost's I'll never be able to attend. still it looks awesome and doesn't stop me from strolling their threads for costume armor and weapon ideas. i especially love the examples of medieval armor made from license plates of which there are many. so what do you guys think, zombies would make it better but it's already super sweet.
