OLDER PICTURES OF MY GEAR.

i still have all of this, but i have long since learned that black is a horrible choice.  i have upgraded every single thing in this picture.   everything i use now is of better quality, function, and usefulness.  also, i went for coyote tan as my preferred color of choice now.

this is Sashenka   (russian female name that means "Defender and Helper of mankind")   she is a Yugoslavian M70ab2 variant AK-47   Chambered in standard 7.62x39. 

i have 9 spare 30rd steel mags, but Sashenka recently got a boob-job, and was upgraded to a 75 rd drum mag.   She is carried on a Stryder 3 point sling.   This was my go-to gun, until i decided to go on a couple mile hike with her.  fully loaded, she is pushing 21 pounds.   Much too heavy for an apocalypse gun.  The firearm has been designated to a vehicle carry ositiuon, and used primarily to secure facilities where the group is holing up for awhile.   This gun, mounted in an upstairs area with a bipod and 75 rd mag can put out alot of cover fire.

ALRIGHTY! This is my EDC Bag.   (Every Day Carry)    NOT my Bug Out Bag, or my I.N.C.H. System.

This bag goes with me everywhere, inside work etc, or it stays in the car where ever i go.

i have a full medical kit, but i am still adding more to it. It has sutures and hemostats, and an israeli bandage, among other things.   This bag is pictured with 3 days supply water, and 5 days food, with the capability of carrying an additional 2.5 liters of water via hydro bag.  It has a custom made mess kit, complete tinder kit, and multiple tools to recreate anything i am lacking. the bag contains 2 pairs of wool socks, a spare pair of boxer/briefs, a spare t-shirt, and a pair of 5.11 RipStop Combat Pants.  (i felt they took up too much space, and so i only showed the British surplus desert padded sleeve shirt that is perfect for hot weather and rugged conditions.) Everybody's EDC kit is different and catered to their needs, there is a reason for everything i have picked and NOT picked, based upon my individual strengths and weaknesses.
