V/H/S 3??

   The V/H/S franchise seems to have struct gold with the first two installments and now they seem to be coming out with a V/H/S 3...Has anyone else heard about this??

   I know I had some reserves of the first two, due to the style in which they were done, but instead of looking at them like a full story, like we would typically watch a horror movie, I went back and watched V/H/S 1 & 2 all over again, but this time I watched more with the eye of watching something like CreepShow...And that seemed to help with the understanding of the movies and stories within the movies itself...

   So now I was looking through some articles within the last couple of months and actually found this on a possible Third times Platinum strike of V/H/S 3...

Third time’s a charm for V/H/S Viral?

I think we all kinda knew this was coming. A third V/H/S movie has been announced, dubbed V/H/S: Viral. Screen Daily broke the news, reporting that this instalment will, as the title suggests, have a more specific angle, centring on “fame-obsessed teens who unwittingly become stars of the next internet sensation.” Following a five-chapter format again, the directors will be Todd Lincoln (The Apparition), Nacho Vigalondo (Timecrimes), Marcel Sarmiento (Deadgirl), Gregg Bishop (Dance of the Dead), and duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Resolution). Bloody Disgusting, who have produced the V/H/S movies, claim this third movie will be the last.

I don’t really feel any particular way about this news to be honest. I’ve made no secret that I hated the original V/H/S, and as such I’ve had no interest in seeing V/H/S 2, though I hear better things about it. This is certainly a less than obvious directorial ensemble they’ve put together, so maybe there’s something interesting in store here. I just can’t pretend I’m in any great hurry to see it.
