Upcoming book "Blood Splatter: A guide to cinematic zombie violence, gore and special effects"
Hello all,
I thought you may be interested in an upcoming book I am currently working on. It's called "Blood Splatter: A guide to cinematic zombie violence, gore and special effects" and it is an in depth look at how special effects have defined the zombie genre. The final book will include SFX reviews of over 300 movies, highlighting over 4,000 special effects shots, rare and never before seen behind the scenes pictures, exclusive interviews with the SFX pro's who have worked on such movies as the Romero saga, Zombieland, Return of the Living Dead, Resident Evil, Shaun of the Dead, BrainDead, Fido, 28 Days Later and everything in between. I will also have make up tips and an in depth journal on my visit to a lead SFX artists studio who worked on Zombieland and The Walking Dead and me being made up as as big screen quality zombie and how the make up process works. I am currently working towards a Thanksgiving release.

Scatoma, I am redoing the fundraiser I had started and it will involve a presale. Next week I will put the book up for preorder for three weeks and the funds raised from that will go towards buying the last photography I need and the trip to Atlanta to be made up as a zombie. Anyone who does a preorder during this window will be mentioned in the "Thank you" section of the book. I went about the last fundraiser all wrong lol...

can you only preorder it directly from your site, or is this going to be featured on Amazon or some other site as well?

The final version will absolutely be on Amazon. The presale will be through my site and Kickstarter.com. The preference will be through Kickstarter as that publicly documents who has contributed, so that way there is peace of mind for the buyer. But I will also have a paypal link setup on my site too. I am about four months away from publishing and am really excited to release it.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive
Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game.
