Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

TIME! How long do you think the war will last against the undead??

given the fact that there are a lot of places to hide for the undead, people falling prey to the zombies, and in general the hords to deal with. how long do you think a zombie war will last if one were to happen tommorow? would it be won in a matter of months or years? will we win at all? meaning will it be something that goes on forever, them killing us and us killing them? could it well go on forever as long as so much as one person is left?

I think once an outbreak becomes a pandemic there will always be a zombie walking the Earth somewhere. I don't reckon they'll all be destroyed at all.

When will the numbers swing in our favour to the point that there are more babies being born than there are people dying?
I think it depends on how quickly we get our shit together and fight as a global nation rather than scrapping between ourselves over trivial bollocks such as tinned food and water.

So, to answer your question...
i, like you, like to think we as a higher life form will prevail in that kind of fight. but i cant help but agree on another point of order you made. god help us if we are wrong on it.
Well put Bastion. I never thought about it in peaceful terms, but it does make sense in a way.
I think it would go on for years. Humans would lose their numbers in the beginning but survivers will always survive. Technicalities(how long do zombies live, and how much food sustains them) aside, humans think and zombies work off instinct alone. Even if they outnumber us, we should be able to outsmart them in many ways. We are the dominent species of this planet. How can a walking pile of shit take the world over? Humans are progressive and will always regroup.
you raised some good questions when it comes to zombies. like the life span and the food thing. another question i always had was this. does their stomachs even process what they eat? i mean think about it. these things are dead. so being dead, nothing works right? so if this is the case, what drives it to eat? a lot of Q&A here and we have more of the Q then the A.
I feel like biting will be the main zombie goal more than the eating itself. Spreading their zombieness around ya know. There are many theories on this. Can eating living flesh keep them fresher and/or slow down decomposition? Could it even give them some kind of a rejuvenating ability? Is it our blood keeping them hydrated? How would they circulate any kind nutrient or whatever without a functioning circulatory system? I feel like it would depend on what is causing the infection in the first place. I sway more on the supernatural side of the argument than man made weapons gone wrong or an unknown blood infection popping up.
i am with you when it comes to the bites thing. reason being the ones that are not eaten to the bone tend to escape and die somewhere else and turn. but i do feel in the end the zombie thing will be a viral thing because of the whole bite factor and rate of infection spread.
You're right guys, because Day of the Dead answered that question when they had the zombie on the table with its stomach detached and it still craved human flesh. I guess it works solely on instinct. I guess we would have to wait for them to decompose to the point of immobility.
Hell yes, and if I had a MASSIVE underground bunker like that with a chopper it would be shangri la. Gotta kill the shitty military guys first though.
i think when it comes to the military men that they will eventually bug out and try to get to families and loved ones in the end leaving bases unguarded. i mean put yourself in their places. what would mean the most to you? your orders or your wife and kids so far away from you and wondering where you are or if you are alive? me? i can answer that one. the wife and kids naturally. to any man worth his salt, family and their safty would be first and formost. sure, they will follow orders to a degree. but family will win out in the end. so the base would be an easy thing to get. the chopper is a whole new ball game. crash and burn is a hell of a way to learn to fly. lol.
I guess i was referencing the movie.
i understand bro.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
