Three Major Books for your BOB

   Hey Zombie Preppers,

   I've been asked by several people not only where I live, but by those I have on Facebook, Twitter and other social media what is the best book to read on learning how to begin prepping for and how to defend ones self against zombies...

   Well, I really don't have the answer to which book is the best...It just all depends on what you are wanting to learn and know...

   Personally, I have many books on the subject of survival...Two in paperback, (which I call my hard copies), the rest on my kindle fire...But the main books I use are the two hard copies and one on my kindle...I find these books more helpful in learning what to do when the zombies become part of our everyday reality...

   Some people might disagree with me on my choices of books to have on hand, but to me that's their hang up...(LOL)

   So lets start with my first Survival Book...

   Urban Survival Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse

   By Simeon Gregory

   This book has Eleven major parts or chapters...Each chapter is broken down into smaller sections that detail steps in which to take during the first 72 hours to surviving after the outbreak... 

   First Chapter: Phases of the Zombie Apocalypse

        A: Phase 0: Infection

        B: Phase 1: Outbreak

        C: Phase 2: The Human Horde

        D: Phase 3: Survive

   I liked this book because of how easily broken down...Each chapter was broke down into smaller sections...This book was one of those books in which you did not have to read cover to cover in order to understand it. You could pick what you wanted to read at any given time...A really good book...It's a very User-Friendly book in the kindle format....I read it from cover to cover, sort of speaking...

   The second book for Zombie Survival to have with you is:

   The Zombie Combat Manual

   by: Roger Ma

   I have this book in hard copy, Thanks for the copy Komrad Venessa Wicked....

   This book has so many useful tips in how to preform defense and offensive measures for protecting yourself against the living dead...The book actually points out the zombies weaknesses and strengths...This book is a must have...Not only does this book give you was to defend yourself, it actually provides you with tactical techniques in defending yourself when you have to face down a zombie without a weapon...The simple hand to hand maneuvers can actually work against a zombie...These tactics within the book have simple example pics to show you how the move should go...

   I like this book, because of the tactical techniques which are simple and can be used or modified to your physical ability...

  And the last but not least book....

   The Zombie Survival Guide 

   By Max Brooks

   Everyone has heard of this book and I have a hard copy and a copy on my kindle...I like this book because it compliments the other two...This book is something I wanted to check out when I first started prepping...Well, a lot of people in the Zombie Community have basically ridiculed Max brooks for writing this book...I've read my hard copy and the kindle version, I haven't really found what they think cannot be used within the zombie apocalypse...Granted there could have been a little more detail in a few of the chapters on certain subjects, but every thing within the book I can see being used and can't see why so many people seem to have such a problem with this book...

   I enjoyed the reading and even some of the tactics that lay within the pages...And also explaining that traveling through different terrain means different levels of survival...This is where I learned that everyone will need different Bug Out Bags because of our different terrains within the states...

   I recommend these three books to be inside your Bug out Bag, Everyday Bag and even copies being placed within a cache locker...These three books combined will make you the best or close to the best zombie survivalist out there...With the practice of the techniques found inside all three books, your chances and the chances of those who join within your group, grow to outstanding portions...

   Granted there are other books out there that can help you determine what plants are safe to eat and others that aren't and among other things...

   I recommend these three to be a major part of your preps....
