YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

Bloody-Disgusting writes: Something quite interesting came out of a new interview with Strike Entertainment producer Eric Newman (The Thing, The Last Exorcism) who talked a bit about the potential remake of John Carpemnter's They Live, which starred Roddy Piper as a drifter who discovers a pair of sunglasses that allow him to wake up to the fact that aliens have taken over the Earth. When asked about the sunglasses element, he revealed that it might be a different device. "We're discussing that. I'd like to say that really, a vagrant wandering around the streets could get you to try on his sunglasses, if he would leave you alone afterwards. He may even pay you $100, "Hey put these on." So we're kind of exploring different versions of what is that thing that allows you to see. But I'm not going to tell you what it is."

I'd love to see this remake!
It just disappoints me that the whole remake thing is still appealing. It leaves little room for creativity. The only remake I love is Tobe Hooper's Toolbox Murders, which is nothing like the original movie at all. Its actually a "remake" in title only, save for the nail gun.
Im not trying to knock something people like. This is merely my opinion. I gave up when I seen the new Elmstreet early in the summer.
i am sorry but this won't take off at all. reason being is Roddy Piper is the one that gave this movie its uniqueness to begin with. no other man can pull this role off in my opinion. it will be as much a disappointment as a lot of the other remakes that were done, the new Freddy remake being top of the list. to make a remake of a classic is nothing short of trying to spit shine a turd. it just dont work.
Say it, brother!
I have seen very few remakes because I don't want to waste my time. I did enjoy most of Hills Have Eyes and loved Dawn of the Dead. I doubt I would ever watch this shit though. You wanna great They Live remake then check out the Timmy and Jimmy fight over putting on the hat. Man, somebody post that please.
now i do have to admit it. The Hills Have Eyes parts 1 and 2 were awsome remakes compared to the originals. and so was the Dawn of the Dead remake. but they were some of the very rare occasions that tend to stand out. another example of a remake that was decent but not a hit in my book was the remake of The Crazies. it just didn't hit the top of my "awsome shitometer" with me. and i think this reamake will hit even lower to the point where i am holding my groin like a good kick in the nuts. and that my brothers and sisters is a BAD movie when it hurts that bad.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
