Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

There are zombies all around. If they get even a hint that you're here you can kiss your arse goodbye. You need to tell your companion where to go, what to look for, and to get the keys to the car parked out front. What do you do?

You sign. Sign language is a fantastic thing to know (I see Obama is in the news again for his signing skills) and VERY useful if you need to keep quiet. A lot of signs are self explanatory and it wouldn take long to teach a companion the essentials. After a while you would be able to "talk" in your downtime without fear of attracting attention!

Something else to remember: we are the most prepared. If any of us want to travel with others we will have to become teacher and pass on our knowledge and skills!

if you are gonna learn one part. you might as well learn it all. you never know when it will be of use.

It seems like an awful lot to remember, but if you learn over time it's not that bad. I would highly recommend classes if you can afford it, or any other setting where you can practice with others.

As for what to learn, I would learn the basics AND specific phrases. That way you know you've got those phrases when you need them, but you can build up more conversational and useful stuff alongside.

just a few i found.
this should be more useful then spelling everything out in regular sign.

damn red, thats awesome, good shit....I say dixie cups and string, thats all we need...lol, no the concept of sign language is good, but wouldnt that mostly only be needed say if we were under siege, locked in a building or a similar situation, in which case, wed be close enough proximity that whispers wouldnt hurt...but then again, never having been in the situation, what do I know?

if were locked in the same room, why couldnt we use verbal communication? such close proximity

assuming zombies can even hear...thats an unkown

hey Rhino, didnt you say you got a old HAM radio? Those seem to work no matter what going on

I have been watching doomsday and the people swear by Amateur Radio or HAM.

I need to start shopping around.

I wanted to look into a licence for this in UK but it didn't look particularly easy (or cheap) :-(
I don't know how it works in USA but over here the airwaves are regulated and you need a license to make any kind of transmission I believe - I could be wrong tho :-( but there's definitely at least two stages of qualifications.

yes. you have to pass a FCC test to prove you know about Frequency Modulation signals (FM) and Amplitude Modulation signals (AM). and also you have to know MORSE CODE. so nuts. lol.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
