Obviously fast zombies have an advantage, but the sheer numbers of zombies will be the deciding factor here. Vampires have limited energy while zombies have infinite. Plus zombies are WICKED!

ok, jut read an article (again, lm sorry l cant post it) but they gave some details...they arent usin faggy twilight vamps, theyre using pretty vicious feeders, not old school two teeth poke holes in your neck, these are mouth full of teeth rip the side of your neck off...and the zombies will be classic romero style zombies. No weapons will be used of course, but they will be basing that on things like a zombies strength and lack of physical limitations...they didnt say exactly if itll be a five on five, but it definitely wont be a one on one. I cant wait!!! Next wednesday at 10 o'clock. Be there or be square!!!

I am fuckin sick of Brooks being the "go to" guy on zombies. Fuck that dude. His ONE book is pretty good... and that's it! What the fuck? I realize his father is the almighty Mel, but seriously where the fuck is Keene, Paffenroth, etc?

He has more than one book, Brian Keene's books aren't based on zombies but fallen angels locked away into the darkness of the void, haven't read Paffenroth's works so I won't voice his opinion. Zombies have to many sources to be necessarily cited. Like Vampires, their origin is difficult to really track. The bible could probably state in Genesis that Cain himself was a zombie, forever wandering the Earth. As for zombies, you just have many types. Voodoo, necromancer zombies, skeleton zombies, the multiple kinds of virus zombies, zombies with animals and what not, biblical zombies. My favorite kind of vampire? The one that can't enter my house without giving it permission.

I agree and disagree. I always say Keene because he set this genre up. No Keene then no Brooks. No Keene then no Permuted Press. Keene has done more zombie panels and conventions than anybody else. There is certainly superior work in the genre now, but he started all this. Wouldn't mind seeing somebody like Joe Mckinney get some props as well.
