YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!
Hey Ghouls and boils,
It's that time of the year again. Time for the Cub Scouts to come out of their shells and begin meeting again. This year my little one is on his third year in the Cub Scouts. He will be working on getting his Bear badge, along with many other belt loops and pins. Plus the new Spookaree campout is coming up soon.
This year the theme for the Cub Scouts overnight campout is
That's right folks, the theme for this years spookaree is Zombie Apocalypse of BirdSong Hollow...Way cool...
I'll be registering him for this sometime next month. We have such a good time last year, that this year we'll have even more fun...Because we'll be shooting zombie targets w/ paintball guns, BB Guns and probably Archery. So this will be cool as hell for him and me. Almost a zombie lovers wet dream...(LOL)
Just thought I would post this up, because it's kind of cool that they are trying to get in on the band wagon...(L)

Your son is going to have a Wicked time! Enjoy!
bro this sounds AWESOME. wish i lived near by so i could go. they dont do anything near this fun for the scouts in my area. they people in charge of the groups here have as much IQ and imagination as a pop tart (one guy was so bad i nicknamed him the two legged popcorn fart). lol. sounds like your son is going to have a hell of a blast.
Yeah, we got a few of those here. We got a couple of them trying to become assistant Cub Masters. If that happens, I see the program in our area going to shit quick.
I've found out that I can take my boy and still do scouting on our own if these dried-up, no imagination, no funny bone fuckers do take charge. He can still earn the badges and the patches and still do the campouts...
So if these guys do get in charge and I see the pack going into ruins, he'll still get the same experiences as if he was in a pack.....
Myself and a few others are trying to block them and we're hoping they'll move on to wanting to do something else...But we won't know anything about that situation for about another three months...
Yeah, I think he will. I know I turn into a big kid when we do the campouts. They're so much fun. Specially when we do the haunted hayride, the haunted boat and the haunted house. After we do those, he always tells me that he was scared, but he knew that he could do it. Which is one of the biggest reasons we do this. It might be more of I can do this because daddy's here, but he's starting to learn that no matter how scared you get of the unknown, as long as you push forward and believe in himself, he can make it through...
He has so much fun. Especially the following morning. That's when they have a lot of different activities. His main activities are the BB Guns and the Archery. Last year he got to try throwing tomahawks. Not some plastic or magnetic toy trash, but throwing real tomahawks. He didn't get them to stick in the targets, but he was knocking chunks the size of a fist off the sides. He loved the hell out of it.
I know this year he'll a lot of fun....

Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
