YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!
Well I be new here so thought I would take this moment to say howdyado.
Anyone here got tattoos? Big interest of mine, the art people wear on their bodies. I have a fair amount of work done on my body. Mostly my arms, ranging from samurais, to skulls, masks, angels, , dragons, panthers and tribal stuff (all have meaning). A majority of my tattoos can be seen in my photo albums on here:

I'd be curious to see any of yours too. Let's get a tatts discussion going (if one doesn't exist already, in which case, my bad)

Those are some wicked tattoos!
Thanks man. I have an awesome artist :D You have any ink?
I figured there would be another topic (my bad). Looks cool, your tatt. Unique style going on there. You getting the same breed of bird around it? Or something different? Look forward to seeing that healed. Never seen water colour stylings before.
All mine are grey scale with a splash of colour. I'm a huge fan of shading which is why I spent ages looking for an artist that specialised in it (took me 6 years to find one I liked).
I plan on getting more stuff done. on the same arm as the angel piece (as it's a memorial piece), I plan to get wreaths and roses (all greyscale) with one coloured red rose in the centre to contrast with the red of the mask on the outer forearm of my other sleeve. I also plan on getting a tiger or lion as a backpiece. I love tatts. Going to have a peep at the others in that link you posted aswell. :D
Thank you. :D Yeah they do look good. You wouldn't believe my hannya mask piece was my tattooists first colour piece would you. Also he had only been tattooing for about 4 years at that time.
Wow you have some interesting ideas for tatts man. The interlocked fingers one sounds awesome. I have a friend who has an interlocking hand tatt. It's a pretty mental looking design. I like the fact that it only makes sense when interlocked. Alas, I'm not bold enough to get my hands tattooed. I want to keep them "coverable" because bosses over here are a bit ass-like when it comes to visible ink.
I too have mine representing various chapters of my life. I have a dragon upper sleeve with the mask and samurai and the meanings all kinda connect. I came from a real shit childhood. Had a whole lot going on whilst growing up and had the dragon to represent strength, the samurai to represent discipline and the hannya mask to watch my back and ward off evil. The two skulls on my lower wrist represent the passing of two good friends. One passed in a fatal car accident and the other commited suicide.
The angel is a commemorative memorial piece for my late grandparents who were like second parents to me growing up. The panther I had done to commemorate my cat who got hit by a car. He was my little homie.
I would never get a tattoo done that didn't mean anything. This is why I don't regret any of mine because they all represent something in my life. Which I guess is why it pisses me off when people say I'm gonna regret them. Because I'm quite a large guy too, having sleeves does get me a lot of judgemental looks.
It is cool the interlocking stuff. I mean, if I ever won the lottery (doubtful lol) and never had to work for anyone else again, I'd get something like that done for sure. But I have to be responsible (dammit lol).
The gloves thing could work though, depending on the type of work you do and how cool your boss is. Again, bosses over here are pretty stringent with appearance at work (yawn)
It's cool, I don't get too down about things. I am a pretty upbeat person. I try not to let things get to me. I don't feel sorry for myself. I definitely don't have the shortest stick of the draw. I got the tattoos to remember these people and to as you say, tell my life story. Can't think of a better analogy than that.
The samurai tatt is most definitely my joint favourite along with the angel piece. Just because they look the best and they have the deepest meanings. The samurai represents some pretty dark days too, which I'm not really going to go into on here but I would say I'm a disciplined guy these days. I have strong will power :D
I guess some women like a big guy but not the ones that took my fancy. Though saying that I don't 'alf pick em. lol.
lol. Nah I got pretty much put straight. At least by one of them anyways. One of them was a great deal shorter than me. I'm over 6 foot and I have what people describe as a rugby player build? She was 5 foot on the dot and a few years older. She was self conscious about the size difference so it went the complete opposite way in that exchange. lol. But whatever, shit happens right?
Yes, I do agree on that point. Matches a saying I use on a regular basis. You can only truly appreciate the finer points of life once you have experienced pain.
Things may suck at the minute, but things turn around. We all fluctuate. If we all plateaued and didn't experience any downturns, we'd never learn anything and we'd all be obnoxious self absorbed brats. That's the way I think about things when life throws me a kick in the balls.

Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
