Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

In a world full of looters, survival groups and the undead. Your ammo is the most valuable thing you will have next to food and water needless to say. So my question is this.

ARE YOU A FULL AUTO FAN OR A SEMI AUTO FAN ?

I for one am a semi auto fan. In a world where ammo will be a "hard to find". I want to know exactly where each and every bullet goes and what it hits.

Whats your take on the subject?

I'm not firearms expert - hard to be here in the UK but I have shot a bit & they always say a fool/untrained person can't miss fast enough with a machine gun. So semi I think.
I'd want something that'd do both, but if I HAD to pick, I'd take the full auto first. Shoot in controlled bursts will conserve ammo, and when the shit hits the fan I'll spray lead at eye level.
Totally agree with ya Rhino. Semi-auto all the way. full auto is just a waste of ammo, and in the zombie apocalypse ammo will be worth its weight in gold and then some!
semi-auto better control and saves ammo
This is kind of tough is semi auto more practical against a horde? You bet. But against a platoon worth of raiders? Hell No. So both have their pros and cons for me if you've ever shot full auto it just feels good ya know? Feeling that recoil, who knows maybe I'm just trigger happy anyway I'd go with Semi auto just cause theres probably gonna be a helluva lot more zombies than raiders
I would have to say, for an apocalyptic scenario I would choose full auto. As already stated, fire in short bursts to conserve ammo, but empty the magazine when danger is too great. Better to have the option of spray 'n pray than be stuck pulling the trigger 40 times.
brother. even in uzi or mac i would want semi auto. basic reason is this. when it comes to recoil or what some calls kick. you may make a kill with the first hit, maybe even the next two or three. but what about the other six or more that come out of those guns in that same full auto burst? those rounds are gone and all you hit was maybe a wall or other objects in that general area. those rounds could have been the differance between life or death come the next zombie battle. to close of a call if you ask me, especially if ammo turns into a hard to find and valued item. i admit when it comes to a mac that semi mode ain't much. i owned one, i know this all to well. but an uzi is a whole new ball game. with a wood or collapsable stock, the hit ratio with an uzi in semi auto is as good as any other firearms with enough skill and practice. so for me, its still semi auto. save a few bullets, save a life. maybe your own.
Nobody can pick up a gun for the first time and be an excellent marksman with it. Zombies don't walk in a straight line, they hobble side to side. You will most likely be under stress or in fear when trying to aim steady. I have very little experience with firearms and I would know I would have a lot of trouble aiming for as small a target as a human head one trigger pull at a time. An untrained individual would most likely pull the trigger more than 4 times to hit the head. It's not like the movies where hitting the head is as simple as a trigger pull, move the gun, trigger pull. So to anyone who practices hitting small, moving targets semi auto would be perfect with a semi auto gun. But for the majority of us who have limited to no experience with them, it is a quick way to get overwhelmed by the undead as your stuck shooting one inaccurate bullet at a time. That is, of course, if you don't practice or aren't trained in doing so.
thats what annoys me about most zombie films, they come across all these weapons fully loaded and suddenly become experts with firearms
I am a good shot and would favor the accuracy of a semi auto weapon.
Semi, conserve your ammo!

i would also have to go with semi full auto is only useful against humans, even then according to the army's own statistics even a trained soldier misses 90 percent of the time, because it basically comes down to, catching your target by surprise or both of taking cover and firing at one another basically blind until someone screws up and gets caught in the open. Rather then being soldiers on the front lines i think survivors will have to take up a more sniper like mentality, going for one shot one kill, conserving ammo and hiding rather then going in guns blazing.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
