religion-post outbreak?

i just wanted to know how do you think the established religious leaders of the world would react to a zpoc? personally I'm not a very religious person, i believe in god but not in the one the church portrays. this allows me to see the church in a different light. frankly i always say religion is like any other power, put it in a mans hand and it will corrupt him. in fact in many way religion is the ultimate power, in that used correctly or incorrectly it gives you total control over a mass amount of people. suicide bombers and the like are a perfect example. what people don't seam to remember is that Catholicism used similar practices, in that they raised army's of brain washed followers to kill in their name. the crusades are a perfect example of this. that being said once the shit hits the fan, many people will be swarming to their local church's seeking answers. once again putting the power of fear back in the churches hands, i can imagine a sorta second crusade. so called holy warriors fighting against swarms of the undead and of course other survivors who do not share there beliefs. I'm not saying every church will become like this but the ones that survive may very well.all it takes is the right, or i guess wrong leader. of course at that point it will be more of a cult mascaraing in the name of established religion. even if it's only a one out 50 thousand case i believe post z day religion will come to be something that is feared. thats just my two cents whats yours?
