YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!
so while researching for my zombie hunter con costume i fell in love with post apocalyptic cosplay. everything from fallout props to original works. it's just such a cool look and you can do anything with it. it requires little money if you know how to scavenge and helps prepare all of us for what it's gonna be like after they rise. i felt wickedzombies was a good place to bring this to help expand the site. so with all that in mind I'm going to be posting cool stuff i make and design here. and if you catch the bug or maybe if you already have it then i welcome you to post your stuff here too.

Granted but what would be the advance of putting a bright blinking light on a grenade. so the can see it before you throw it and shoot you. Or so the enemy can find it faster and get away befor it blows. Weve been fooled by Hollywood into think explosives have blinking lights and beat and stuff. But its not true. Real explosives are silent. As they should be. Why would you risk alerting someone to it just so they can run away or disarm it?!
the advance is not so much for the enemy but for the thrower. the lights can count down the seconds the user has left to throw it. that way when it gets to the place you want it. even if the pick it up. it wont matter. see the average grenade has a five second fuse. so if you have a fuse with countdown lights. count to three and throw. by the time it finishes the countdown. it will be to late for the enemy to throw back. and if thrown on the third beep in the countdown. even if they see the grenades light fuse. there is no way to stop the countdown or disarm it in 2 seconds. it would be like BEEP BEEP BOOOOM! running at that point would even be useless even though human instinct is to do so. so when it comes to countdown lights on a grenade fuse. its more to the throwers advantage more then anything. at least thats how i look at it. ;-)
well i whipped up the pouches pretty quickly.
there just dog food cans with left over pieces of belts, from my knee pad, riveted to the back. i need to weather them up a black and brown was for dirt and grime. and some rest maybe real maybe fake ill see what i fell like doing.
Now this is what I am talking about! You have the survival apocalypse cosplay nailed!
his work is spot on.
so i just finished the second layer of weathering on my grenades.
and the first layer on my grenade pouches.
so i did a black wash on both. i just took some black paint brushed it all over and then wiped it off with a towel, nothing special. i also scratched up and dented the tin cans. they all look much more lived in now. i also used rubber bands to hold the the grenades in the cans. since the cans are a little to big and they tended to rattle around inside before.
SWEET!!!

Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
