YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

so while researching for my zombie hunter con costume i fell in love with post apocalyptic cosplay. everything from fallout props to original works. it's just such a cool look and you can do anything with it. it requires little money if you know how to scavenge and helps prepare all of us for what it's gonna be like after they rise. i felt wickedzombies was a good place to bring this to help expand the site. so with all that in mind I'm going to be posting cool stuff i make and design here. and if you catch the bug or maybe if you already have it then i welcome you to post your stuff here too.

since i cant wear my new shoulder harness with my gorget i decided to pair it with my metal shoulder Pauldron.

why wouldnt it work with the gorget you made?

the pad gets in the way of the extended shoulder part on the gorget where the skull sits. it just makes it hard to wear.

Could you take the skull from the gorget and mount it on the shoulder pad??

another thing that skull would look good on is a walking staff. kinda like a kings scepter. and being you are going for the religious cult leader look. a true king needs a scepter. just a thought. lol

you know i really like it on the shoulder but i don't know if it will work well on pad. the extra weight might make the pad slide around falling down my shoulder. or just move around. plus not sure how i would attach it.

i might try putting it on something else but  i need the right thing. my guy wouldn't carry a scepter but a large cross like mace like this.

which i really want to make soon.

I am loving the survival gear you are creating.

thanks its fun making things.

so taking a few peoples advice i tired attaching the skull to my shoulder pad.

it actually didn't work as bad as i thought it would. as long as i tightened down the belts had it didn't slide around like i thought it would, with the added weight of the skull.

still gives me free rang of motion, and i had to ditch the long screws i had holding it in place for bailing wire wrapped through the eyes and holes i drilled through the back. i wanted to use them but couldn't make it work.

so what do you guys think, I'm still on the fence about it.

i think the skull looked better on the gorget but i can't wear the gorget with the bad. also it was just a little had to wear, and frankly i think it looked to small on a big guy like me. but i also really liked how the bad looked with out the skull. but i do like the skull sitting on my shoulder. so need you guys input.

it looks good on both pieces. i would make the skull universal so it can be used on both of them. it makes them both look awesome as hell bro. shame there is no way to marry them both together and not have it hard to move in.

well their is nothing permanently attaching it to either one. the bolts make it easy to put on and take off the gorget. and i just have to use bailing wire to hold it to the pad. o yeah i can switch it back and forth. but your right it is a shame i cant use both. I'd have to cut down the shoulder of the gorget for the pad to sit right. and then there would be no room for the skull so what can you do.

its like my dad once told me. for everything there advantages and disadvantages and very few things work universally. this happens to be one of those situations.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
