so while researching for my zombie hunter con costume i fell in love with post apocalyptic cosplay. everything from fallout props to original works. it's just such a cool look and you can do anything with it. it requires little money if you know how to scavenge and helps prepare all of us for what it's gonna be like after they rise. i felt wickedzombies was a good place to bring this to help expand the site. so with all that in mind I'm going to be posting cool stuff i make and design here. and if you catch the bug or maybe if you already have it then i welcome you to post your stuff here too.

all to many times i have seen a talent wasted or discovered to late in life to be of good use for them for various reasons. you are young enough that if you can get this with the blow gun going. you will benefit from it the rest of your days. and so will future generations.  ;-)

i think thats asking a lot for a few inter-sliding tubes but yeah I'll look into getting  a patient.

i amsure that is what the guy who invented the mechanical pencil thought to but look at how far that thing has advanced. lol. its well worth the time to do bro.

yeah next chance i get i'll work on design. i think i can make more production ready version out of copper tubing. which unlike most pipes, slide perfectly into one another like a Russian doll.

sweet. how long will it extend to?

i guess i can make it to any length i want.

okay so this other site I've been sharing my cosplay with is doing a contest to help get more people active. it's a month long build where you have to use five items to make something apocalyptic themed. for this one it a table leg, coffee can, flannel shirt and bike tire. for my entree i decided to make a wasteland torch. so far this is what i have together.

this table leg forms the handle and attached to the end is the can. i cut triangle holes around the brim of the can with can opener from a multy-tool. for airflow.

i even manged to find some flannel material which has become the wick for the torch. just poor any flammable liquid inside the can. it gets soaked up by the cotton material instant torch just add spark.

the license plate is going to get cut up into a reflector slash rain cap. it will go over the top of the can to reflect light back down and around. and finally the bike tire will form the padding for the handle. so what do you guys think, sound like a winner?

sounds good to me bro.

thanks yeah ever one liked this idea, in fact i was lucky to snag it first. everyone else was thinking the same thing.

so not sure if this counts as post apocalyptic its a little to clear for that but i decided that one of my favorite guns needed a holster so i took some leather from an old chair and made this.

pretty simple really i took  the gun folded the leather around it. cut to shape and then stitched up the side with fishing line. the straps just a piece of leather i glued on the back side and then put Velcro as the clasp on the front.its sturdy and does the job. not bad for my first holster not made of cardboard and duck tape.

this is the ugliest part. i thought it needed a belt clip so a cut and bent some aluminum into shape. it doesn't work well it really should be something like spring steel. i want to upgrade it maybe with a real clip. but for now it works.

here's a pic with the gun out of the holster. its a colt .25 automatic. at least the air soft version. i like it cause its the same one De niro used in taxi driver. which is why its usually on my sleeve holster, but I've been playing with it more and more recently.I'm thinking of wearing it on my costume. probably across my chest on a belt. don't know yet.

you could do like DeNiro did and make a rail for it on the side of your arm. that would go cool with the costume you are working up. the last resort so to speak. lol. if they wont take a blessing. pop em a new butt hole in the forehead. lol

already got it man you never saw that

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
