YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!
so while researching for my zombie hunter con costume i fell in love with post apocalyptic cosplay. everything from fallout props to original works. it's just such a cool look and you can do anything with it. it requires little money if you know how to scavenge and helps prepare all of us for what it's gonna be like after they rise. i felt wickedzombies was a good place to bring this to help expand the site. so with all that in mind I'm going to be posting cool stuff i make and design here. and if you catch the bug or maybe if you already have it then i welcome you to post your stuff here too.

so in my never ending atempt to make my cosplay even beter i finnaly found the thing that made my shoulder armour realy pop. just a splash of color.
i think it really brings everything together and plays to the whole muroder cult thing i'm trying to do. now i just have to clear coat it to hold in the coolor and i think she will be done.
but i didn't just stop with revamping an old piece. i made a brand new one. a posted a video yesturday of how to make arm bracers out of old shoes. well i tried it my self and while it didn't work as intended i did come up with somehting even cooler.
this stylish vambrace was made from the upper part of an old gi jungle boot and stitched together with fishing line for a strong durable and flash addition. made from tough nylon and shoe leather should be more then capable of stopping a zombie bite in its tracks.
Hey Saint, I think you just gave me an idea on how i can strap my metal work to my arm and the upper parts of my thighs...
Using your idea of the boot shafts and attaching them to the metal and then using the strings to sew them into my Jesse James construction pants will work good...
Just need to figure out how to keep the damn things buttoned...The cheap ass button they used on some pretty strong and heavy duty pants was whacked...I'm thinking about trying to use a few chains somehow...Not sure yet...
That's pretty bad ass dude...I like it...
thanks glad i could inspire you, i just wish i had another one to go on the other arm. but i already cut that one up. anyway good luck and you could use little bucks, that would be cool.
Might look into that as well...Just need a few more pieces and I'll be able to work stead on completing the costume/zombie armor...
So if anyone reads this part, if you have an old duster (weather denim or leather) please feel free to message me about it...I think instead of doing the Mad Max thing, I'm slapping my unique style to this....So if anyone has an old duster they don't use anymore, (a duster is a trench coat with a slit up the back to make the coat easier to wear while riding horses) let me know...
I will...
here are some pics of my sheath now that I've weathered it a bit and added a few more touches.
i burned the cordage with a lighter to add a nice char effect, and i added this cross made out of nails and wire to realy push the religious angel a bit more. i think it looks really cool and tribal.`
i tried agings the paper with some yellow food coloring but it didn't come out the way i wanted. I'm hoping the color will fade with time. and just for the heck of it i added a one cent piece from the Bahamas i found cause it had a cool design and why not.
i want to add some tassels coming off the end maybe with little piece of things on them like gear or animal bones. then jsut finish weathering the whole thing and she will be done.
probably do a cross on the forehead in red with an infinity symbol over it since thats kinda gonna be my insignia. oh and i got a great tip from a doctor who the empty child prop build and use black panty hose stretched out over the eyes to darken them and rim made out of the bottom of a soda can to hold it in place over the eye. should give a good look.
well i painted the skull on so just gotta wait a day or two from the paint to fully dry so i can do some touch up work and add the details. i settled on the red cross on the forehead with the infinity symbol, and a black scar like line over the left eye. oh and the tinting of the eyes. should look pretty boss.
I know the finished product is going to look WICKEd saint!

Greetings Everyone, Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
