YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

So. When the shit hits the fan. 9 times out of 10 a lot of us will be at work, the grocery store, Walmart, what have you. In other words. We will be wrapped up in our day to day lives. So with this in mind. My million dollar question is this.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ENSURE THAT YOU GET HOME SAFE TO ALL YOUR FAMILY AND LOVED ONES?"

In other words. Did you prepare yourselves by doing things like the following.

1) GET A CONCEALED CARRY LICENSE TO CARRY A PISTOL

2) STOCK THE CAR WITH A PISTOL AND AMMO OR AT LEAST A MELEE WEAPON

3) DO YOU HAVE A SMALL CACHE OF FOOD AND WATER IN THE CAR IN CASE YOU ARE STRANDED

4) A PLANNED ROUTE TO USE TO GET YOU HOME AND HOW MANY

I think you get the idea from here. Being I am with at least one family member at all times. This is what I have done to get back home to the remainder of my family and go from there. Maybe this list I have done will help build your plan to get back home to your family then deploy your bigger survival plan from there.

1) SECURED A CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT

2) PUT 2 MELEE WEAPONS IN THE CAR

3) MADE A SURVIVAL DAY PACK CONTAINING THE FOLLOWING

    A) 2 EXTRA MAGS FOR THE PISTOL

    B) 100 ROUND BOX OF AMMO

    C) 2 QUART HYDRATION BLADDER FOR WATER

    D) ENOUGH ENERGY BARS FOR 2 PEOPLE

    E) A BAG OF HARD TACK CANDY TO KEEP BLOOD SUGAR UP

    F) GMRS HAND RADIO AND BATTERIES

    G) CITY MAP WITH MARKED ESCAPE ROUTE TO GET BACK HOME AND 5 MARKED ROUTES

    H) GAS MASK

good questions asked there. as far as the NY area. the best one to talk to as far as a meeting point would be Komrad Venessa being most of the KOMRADZ live in the NY area. also being pretty much the only komrad in Ohio as far as i know and being i live with family. i would need to get to them first before trying to hook up with any komradz anywhere. i would think any komrad would want you to try to get any family you could before coming to me or another komrad. i know i would understand that. but if you have fellow komradz in your area to. by all means work them in to. as far as communications go. i been contemplating that one myself. i been leaning along the lines of HAM RADIOS for this. these things are by no means cheap. but can go very long distances with a good signal.

also if you are already on the road once you get family. a good GMRS radio like these are a good thing to have on hand. some reach out for up to 35 miles. so they would be an excellent addition to a bug out bag.

also these base camp radios have an awesome range to them and are hand cranked as well as battery powered.

i got both of these items so either way. i can send out a radio signal and reach a komrad somewhere and find them to meet up for the long trip to the mountain sektor.

yea, have we every established exactly where the mountain sektor is? If worse comes to worse if I have a location to get to, then by God Ill get there, I just dont want to end up in a situation where I have no contact with anybody and no idea where to go...
i know its outside Boulder Colorado. but where from there? i got no clue.
Plus Rhino we have to work out when were gonna snatch up our cruise ship lol!!
when we meet up in NY. if we cant get out of the city then we will head to the harbors and go from there. lol
I'm pretty sure that a hell of a lotta people will have the same idea, and the harbors will probably be guarded by the army.
lol
Fuck the army!! were gettin our cruise shit dammitt!! Rhino load up the mini gun boss...
OH YEAH! cant leave those behind. lol.

ya same here ....MORE wepons the better

I'm still worried about making my way to Georgia where my mom, sister, and yes....even my stepdad are...now granted my stepdad is an old army sergent, Im sure hes capable of holding them off, I still obviously need to make my way down there and reunite, hopefully I can convince them to return with me, my stepdad is pretty stubborn and would most likely put his trust in the government and whatever little barrack/safe zone they set up...
i can understand where your concern is because that is a lot of distance to cover. i think the step dad is gonna be the hardest to convince to leave. its been my experience as well that the older vets have a lot of faith in the military and the government. being mom and sis will be easier to talk into leaving. i would head to them first. then go for step dad.

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
