Yes it is. I hated, HATED it in high school which is why I ducked out and graduated early. I'm lucky I had the support to graduate early. Lots of kids don't have that support and they end up dropping out or as we all know, much much worse.

I went to a really small school in the country in TX, close to where Scatoma lived and went to a bigger school before me. I can't speak for him completely, but when someone was gay, they did NOT come out. It would be obvious and there would be endless teasing but typically that person didn't admit to it. That is one of the absolute hardest things in life, having to hide parts of yourself to please the world around you. I've done it and still do but not about things that are this personal and should be something that isn't used to judge your character. For someone to have to hide who they are isn't right if they aren't hurting anyone.

I understand and the idea is to make it to where these kids don't have to ball up their fists and fight. They can just be who they are!!
