Independent or Big Budget Zombie Movies?

i agree that the independants have the home field advantage because of the lack of movie rating systems. and they are very entertaining and creative. but when it comes to Zombieland and Survival of the Dead. they were not a total flop to me.

Zombieland had a lot of humor. and when Bill Muray got it in the chest with the shotgun. it just made up for movies like Groundhog Day and Garfield (both parts 1 & 2).

Survival of the Dead won big with me because not only was it is made by the master. but because there was also a few funny points to it like the 2 irish family clan leaders and how they ended. and opend up a couple of good points also. like "CAN AND WILL ZOMBIES EAT ANYTHING ELSE OTHER THEN US?" and as a result a topic of some heated debate still "CAN ANIMALS BE INFECTED AFTER A BITE ONLY TO LIVE LONG ENOUGH TO TURN?".

so for me. these big budget films didnt totally flop. but i still look for to that independant film makers zombie movie to. i am in for anything zombie. the company i watched it with made these films even better.

I love all zombie movies, I just have a hard time watching any of them filmed digital it gives me a violent headache
