Margaret Hartmann — Walking Dead Billboard Posted In Worst Possible PlaceClear Channel has apologized for erecting a huge ad for The Walking Dead on the the side of The Co-operative Funeralcare in Consett, England. The owners of the funeral parlor say they weren't consulted before the company put up the ad. The billboard has been taken down and presumably moved to a more appropriate location, like the side of a brain imaging center or gun shop.

i didnt know England had gun shops. i was under the impression that gun ownership was against the law there.

I just copied the original article from Gawker. Gawker is this contrived hipster liberal blog (which I seem to get sucked into reading even though it drives me nuts) that typically gets its facts wrong anyway. I didn't realize it was in the UK until I read the second article that I just linked to.

Guns are definitely banned. We've talked about it. The police don't even have them. They carry batons and I think that certain types of enforcement carry guns.

Ha, go figure- it's Clear Channel.
They work with Live Nation who runs a monopoly on the concert industry, they plan on making the zombie apocalypse real... maybe.
