Horror Great Paul Naschy Has Passed

I just found out a few days ago that horror legend Paul Naschy had died. Some members may not be familiar with his work because he was an international horror star. Known most popularly as the "Spanish wolfman", his career was much more then that. His list of credits in front of and behind the camara seem endless. Besides playing the wolfman around six times, he has also played Dracula, a hunchback necrophiliac, zombies, worlocks and even Satan himself.

Paul Naschy was his chosen stage name. When serving as director or screenwrite, he would use his real name, Jacinto Molina. He was a champion weight lifter in his native country of Spain. His creative force could always be recognized in his films. His movies also feature some really gorgeous women of the early 70's. I have always been a huge euro-horror fan and I truely love Naschy's work. I had the pleasure of meeting him once around five years ago.

If anyone enjoys euro-horror from the late 60's and 70's, Naschy's films are always a great way to spend an hour and a half.
