Guy Creates Both ‘Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III’ Chainsaws

Some movie props are awesome but not really all that useful. Sure, I’ve got a mask or a glove or a poster or whatever but how does that really make my life better aside from being displayed and proving my love of the genre? That’s all well and good but my garden is overgrown and it’ll take a hell of a lot to get through that mess! If only I had something that could cut through it all like a hot knife through butter…

Enter Neil Olivier, a man who is besotted with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre series, particularly Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III and the “Excalibur” chainsaw that Leatherface uses to slice and dice his victims. It’s because of this passion that Olivier has been making replicas of both the “Excalibur” and the “Skin and Bone” saws that were featured in the film and DAMN do they look good!

Olivier explains, “I have spent years researching and testing to make the most accurate replica of the saws used in the film. I believe that my replica saws are as close as you can get to the real thing. In fact, I have even helped restore and replace missing pieces of the only known Excalibur saw to still exist.”
